I've been too late a bunch of times

Not to meetings or appointments :-) That's just disrespectful...

But to a variety of the following:

- to quit pursuing a path that led nowhere

- to praise someone doing an outstanding job

- to fire someone I knew was not going to be happy in their job

And the list goes on. Such is life. You are going to be late.

But it is never too late.

To stop, think and act. Am I doing what I should be doing? Did I share my admiration with someone today? Am I providing the right opportunities for people to do their best work and be happy here?

Do that, today.
