We tend to avoid it until it becomes absolutely necessary. And the situation is even more difficult when the conflict is between co-founders of a company.
The co-founder relationship is a special one - the two of you came up with a great idea… and brought it to life! The bonds of loyalty are strong.
But as companies grow, the relationship two people had when they were in the “garage” can begin to strain and fray.
The skills that got you there are often not the same as the ones you need to scale an operation.
