Managing self-doubt

Most of the founders I work with experience periods of self-doubt.

Am I good enough in the job, good enough at home? What am I supposed to do to become the successful founder I aspire to be?

It's healthy to have self-doubt, and it is actually okay to share it. But that last part is incredibly vulnerable. Will my board still support me, will my team still follow me?

The answer is, they will.

Great founders are comfortable sharing their occasional self-doubt. It just shows the world that they are human too.

And humans love humans. Not robots.

So, if in doubt, share, show people you trust them to also handle that side of you. Talk things through, and then go back to be your assured self.

You got this. You can do it. Carry on.
