In 1998 Tim Cook made an absurd bet

In 1998 Tim Cook made an absurd bet.

Today, it has helped him become one of the most successful CEOs and build a $1.9 billion net worth.

Here's the breakdown:

26 years ago Tim Cook was a top executive at the world’s largest computer company- Compaq.

Compaq was leading the market and set out to be the big 21st-century success story.

While Apple was on the edge of bankruptcy.

Yet, he decided to quit his job to join Apple. Against all strategy reports, data, and logic.

Why?

👉 Because his gut said it was the right step.

Most corporate professionals think intuition is too "woo-woo" for the boardroom.

But the top 1% of leaders always tap into it while taking risks and stepping into the unknown.

An important lesson there.
